THE DRUMMER OF OUEST AND MANY OTHER LOCAL GROUPS,(DARU JONES BORN IN MICHIGAN)BECAME ONE OF THE MOST RESPECTED DRUMMERS IN HIS OWN RIGHT.HIS INSTEREST IN MUSIC WAS DEMONSTRATED WHEN HE PICKED UP THE STICKS AT THE AGE OF FOUR.BEAT AFTER BEAT, IN HIS TEENAGE YEARS HE ADVANCED HIS DRUMMING BY ATTENDING DRUM CHART READING CLASSES.

AT THE SAME TIME HE WAS INFLUENCED BY HIPHOP FROM EAST AND WEST COAST PRODUCERS SUCH AS:DA MEATMINERZ,MARLY MARL,DRE,ERIC B,ERIC SERMON,PETE ROCK,RZA AND MANY MORE PRODUCERS.DARU WAS AMAZED WHEN HE HEARD DJ PREMIER TRACKS.BY DARU BEING A DRUMMER,HE NOTICE ALOT OF THE LIVE DRUM LOOPS,PROGRAMMING AND JAZZ SAMPLES PREMIER USED.KEEPING UP WITH THE TIMES FROM THE DRUMSET TO PRODUCING ,DARU IS NOW SHOWCASING HIS CRAFT WITH UP AND COMING PROJECTS THAT WILL FEATURE NEW ARTIST OFF OF RUSIC PRODUCTIONS,DARU'S INDEPENDENT COMPANY.

Working with many groups and artists like Byron The Aquarious, Jas'mine, Tableek of Maspyke,
Reggie B. and Innatesounds Crew etc... Daru is also showcasing his craft with upcoming projects
& compilations that will feature new artists off of his independent company Rusic Productions.
