Inspired by such natinal DJs as Fixx, Huda Hudia, Craze, Freaky flow, Sharaz, Icey and Baby Anne, this Cleveland native wanted to bring the Florida 'Funk' up north. Damien not only mixes but scratches, adding little twists to his performance. He has just the right combination to make the crowd go crazy. This results in something worth seeing in every performance. Damien never leaves anyone disppointed with his aggressive mixing style and great track selection.
Back in late '97 and early '98, during his freshman year at college, Damien convinced his mom to buy him a pair of Numark TT-a's and a Gemini mixer. Being dedicated and open-minded, he began crafting his style. At Kent, he was a round tons of local influences which left their mark; 7up, Ale Fillman, Evan Evolution, Rob Riddum, Groundzero and other Kent/Akron DJs.
After being dedicated to the scene for about four years, Damien moved back to Cleveland and began perfecting his style. Having numerous residencies at bars and clubs throughout the city; B-Sides, Zaza, Metropolis, Peabody's and Wish. Now living his dream and rocking out venues all over Cleveland, Damien wanted to give back and give new talent a chance. He began hosting open table nights in three locations for about two years. This allowed Damien to meet new DJs in the area and connect with new projects. He then took his status one step higher and started promoting, bringing in headliners such as Adam F. and Marques Wyatt.
As of late, he's producing Florida Breaks tracks and has a new mixed CD in the works. Damien joined forces with Koala-Tea in 2004 and has some surprises in store for the future.
