Vaccine is the production alias of Christine Clements. Having been involved with the promotions end of the industrial rock and IDM music scenes since she was a teenager, and running a drum & bass record label with her husband, ASC, whom she also manages, writing her own music - after she'd been promoting other people's for years - was a logical progression.

Drawing inspiration from synaesthesia and her melting pot of musical influences, Christine had instant success becoming the first American, and first female to sign to prestigious UK label Hotflush Recordings. Her DJ mixes as well have attracted recognition for their careful commitment to precise blends, mixing in key, and unexpected inclusions. With her years of experience, an exacting attention to detail, and a truly original sound, it's safe to say that dubstep has found an artist who is not afraid of paving the way for deep and creative productions.

Comment: Like her "Medicate With Bass Weight" mix, Christine Vaccine has crossed Ambient with Dubstep to produce a truly unique sound. This mix, although never rushed, seems to be slightly more to the point, whilst "Medicate," being recorded at a later date, is a more confident yet experimental outing.
Pushing the boundaries of Dubstep forward, Vaccine is sure to go far.

Comment: Urrrrgggghhhh ! ...... this mix is really good ! again YellowFever rings me up at silly o'clock in the morning and asks me to check this out so reluctantly i did but i was pleasantly supprised, right from the off it builds warm space like sounds that wrap around the mix like a luxury feather duvet ?! .... as the mix moves on it builds further styles into the soundscape whilst dipping in and out of all types of dubstep it allways returns back to that staple sound of warm synths and intricate drum paterns that i really really like ! boomshanka me thinks !
