At the age of 12 Alex began studying the piano at 18 he turned to D.J.ing. One year later he set up his first studio and joined the group 'Universal Trilogy', the first ever electronic dance act in Greece. After four years of touring and one vinyl EP released, he decided to go on his own. In Greece, Alex has made a name for himself along with numerous productions and remixes, his songs featured on 2 major dance label compilations. His biggest hits were remixes of the music of a Nepal-Tibetan traditional group called 'Huun Huur Tu', and a remix of 'Ekki Attar', which reached no.3 in the Top 10 Singles chart in Greece. In the summer of 2002 his remixes of 'Emigre'(a Greek pop rock band) were in the top 10 play lists of almost all the Greek radio stations. In 2005 three of his songs were included in the compilation Eclectic Dance which was one of ther best ever selling dance compilations in Greece. Also Alex's tracks could be found on many Greek compilations during the past few years. In Greece Alex is signed as a producer/remixer with PlusRec Records, the official dance sub-label of Universal Greece. From June 2003 he is a resident of Amsterdam city in the Netherlands. Immediately after his arrival he started producing and until now he has produced 10 albums and several remixes covering almost all genres of electronic music. Some time after he was signed as an artist/producer/remixer, to the UK independent label, Blue Dove Records and his first EP 'A Few Years Back' was released in 2004. Through this label, he appeared with two tracks in the soundtrack of an urban snowboarding dvd movie, which was produced in the United States. 1st of June 2006 a 12 vinyl will be released called Guitartronics. The track Guitartronics has received some excellent feedback from Frisky Radio/Interference Productions, Bedrock Breaks, Tigerhook/Bedrock/Renaissance and others. Alex has also signed on with Pencilbrain Records. His remixes of 'Snake' and 'Feeling Goes On' by the band Pencilbrain, are in a class all of their own. He is also featuring there another two compilation albums. In September 2006 one of his ambient-chill out tracks will be included in the compilation Chillicious from Waveform Records from USA. He is also present in many well known MP3 download sites, with a lot of downloads already in his portfolio. As a Dj he has played in hundreds of venues all over North Greece and in a few during his staying in Amsterdam. Many times he was Djing and performing live using his synthesizers to add some extra sonic color to his set. Also he was a frequent guest on stage with other musicians to join in a live DJ set with known greek Djs in some of the most famous and big clubs in his home city, Thessaloniki(population more than 1.5 million).
