trocknroll
After moving from his home in Tampa in 1995, Pete soon began Djing and throwing parties in upstate New York, and over the years has performed at some of the East Coast's largest events. In 2001 Pete moved to Brooklyn, and his Blueprint and Schematic events hosted loads of international talent. His dj taste ranges from funk'd & dirty breakbeats to house, old-school, hipHop and downtempo.
In the summer of 2002, Pete began travelling every few months to Belgium to perform for numerous promoters, at spots such as Decadance, club Geluk, and Brussel's Radio 21. In 2003 he started Blunted Funk Recordings with Scottie B, with a goal of releasing solid underground house music.
Pete moved to San Francisco in 2005, and soon found a weekly spot to host the Blunted Funk sound on the left coast. He's also been working hard in the studio, and his remix with Scottie B of Sulli and Alexander East's 'Up All Night' made it to #32 on the Balance UK Carts this summer.
Weekly, check out Pete's Thursday night residency in SF with loads of upcoming guests including Corey Black, Tasho, JT Donaldson, Sharon Buck, Greg Eversoul, Antonio, TkDisko + more @ John Colins.
