Biography of Herr Arter
Things started to go fast for Arter as he became a resident dj of the ElectroNation crew in 2002. In the following years he has been constantly touring the Dutch club-scene and, performing at all the big summer festivals of the nation. Next to this he has been touring in England, Belgium, Germany and Ukraine.
The sound Arter plays can best be described as house music ranging from the original sounds of Chicago & Detroit to UK fidget house and German minimalism. These ingredients and the way he serves this house cocktail, are the main reason for his success.
As the founder of the Amsterdams Belang collective (2005), and the force behind the extremely succesfull Putsch nights (2006). Arter has been busy as a promoter. His parties took place in the legendary ITW venue at the NDSM. Recently Putsch was even awarded the prize for the best new initiative of the dutch techno-scene. At the moment Arter is busy with his new clubnight in the flexbar called La-DS. (2007).
After reaching the end of his 6 years of university in august 2006, Arter can call himself a master in philosophy.
