Mike grew up in and around Toronto, Canada, and was into all kinds of music from a young age, but it wasn't until his high school years that a particular affection for dance music dominated his listening. Mike got the bug in 1995 and DJed throughout his years attending university, spinning hip hop and house in clubs, bars, and various outdoor events.

His interest in DJing growing with each passing year, he continued spinning throughout a move to Australia, and then back again to Toronto, all the while refining the quirky, deep sound for which he is best known. Today Mike's sets range from funky house to deep to tech house, but embrace as diverse a musical background as you could imagine, incorporating songs from across the spectrum.

'All I really care about as a DJ is playing good music to dance to. With me, on any given night you're as likely to hear Eric Clapton as you are Nine Inch Nails. It'll all be meshed into a house kind of framework, but the main thing is, its just got to have a good groove. As long as you got that, its on!' Mike currently spins at a number of clubs and afterhours events in Toronto, and travels throughout southern Ontario, Quebec, and the northeastern United States, bringing the bump to the floor at each party.
