Biography of [T]ékël

[T]ékël are Julien Briffaz & Loïc Le Guillou.

Julien founded BRIF records before meeting Loïc Le Guillou, and deciding to give up label management to start producing music under the name [T]ékël.

[T]ékël develop a style that merges different influences into one: rock, hip hop, house, electro and techno... 8 Eps later [T]ékël enjoy european wide recognition and their productions have found a place in the record boxes of such djs as Michael Mayer, Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Agoria, Tiga, Ivan Smagghe,...
The pair have consequently started to perform live sets, in the clubs where energetic and powerful sound never fails to set the dancefloor on fire: Nuits Sonores (Lyon), Rex Club; Elysée Montmartre, Triptyque, Pulp, Nouveau Casino, Batofar (Paris), WMF,Watergate,Deep (Berlin), Click(Hamburg), Mondo (Madrid), Fabric (London)...

[T]ékël have also been asked to deliver remixes for such respected labels as Crosstown Rebels (UK), Set (France) and Boxer recordings (Koeln), and more recently Sander records & Lasegun, and a forthcoming one for Fcom.

T]ÉKËL’s debut album is out now on CD, and are the cover feature of TRAX magazine, May 2006 issue.
