Biography of DJ PlateSpiller
Mixing since 2000 Dj PlateSpiller started playing small house parties in and house nights at bars in St. Louis, MO. In May of 2005 he had the honor of being the special guest dj of the HitGirls at the Mantra Lounge in Seattle Washington. Upon returning to St. Louis and playing in venues from Club Europe to the U Lounge PlateSpiller collected a diverse collection of music. From deep minimal house to banging tribal beats, a set by DJ Platespiller can feature the gambit! Spinning on vinyl and Final Scratch - his catalog of music is vast. In January of 2006 he transplanted to New York, NY. After taking a brief brake to adjust to life in the big city PlateSpiller returned to Seattle to once again partner with the HitGirls. In May of 2006 he played an afterhours set at Seattle's newest club on Capitol Hill, Sugar. This trip also helped debut the DJ's of Hitgirl's 'brother' company Re:Launch. This year also marked PlateSpiller's New York debut at 'Spincycle.'
