Biography of Luke's Anger

After listening to a demo cd i'd been handed on a trip to Bristol, one track in particular stood out - the shakin bass of 'dirty on the floor' which then became the inspiration behind releasing the various artists 12's... More tracks arrived soon after and it quickly became apparent that this was a talent not to be ignored.. Luke has an uncanny ability to turn his production hand to many genres with alarming ease and with his unique understanding of what makes tracks work , i can only say ...WATCH THIS SPACE.

One glorious day round about 1990, Luke and his brother replaced their ZX Spectrum with an Amiga 500 and hot on its heels, a soundcard and copies of fasttracker and octamed. In 1994 a barrage of jungle tapes and vinyl were the sole listening material and spurred him on to create the infamous 'Backroom Beats' sessions in 1997 across Norwich for the next five years catering for the post-rave party people playing predominantly hip hop, reggae, jungle and whatever the hell he felt like. In addition to supporting DJ's such as the Scratch Perverts, Luke could also be found playing sets at free parties when everyone else was too drunk to do so!

Growing tired of the by now stagnating techno music being aired at parties a mysterious crew known only by the name of MOLOTOV (with which Luke was rumoured to be involved) had now emerged whose policy was to play their own music at amplified volumes to those who would listen. In 2003 Luke left the green pastures of the east for Bristol and and continued to refine his own productions. Mark my words, you will be hearing more from this man.
