Biography of Salamandra
Salamandra has begun the musical career in 1998 as the back-vocalist. She worked on a back-vocals for various artists in Russia. In parallel with it, she wrote the verses and music. In December, 1998 was released CD compilation: 'the Dispatch for Depeche Mode ' with her own cover-version on song 'Somebody'.
The only thing, that did not satisfy her in that occured was absence to create non-standard electronic music. She began more increasing in seduced break rhythms. In 2000 Salamandra has started to write songs in style of trip hop. Something turned out rather underground and not ordinary. In July, 2000 she gets on one of drum'n'bass parties and understands, that wishes to write something similar. She found in this music all that was combined, that demanded her soul: speed, break rhythm, interesting melodies, future sounds and deep basses. In 2003 has been finished an album 'Sound Of The Sun' in style of oldschool drum'n'bass. Record company have made not the big circulation, and an album have bought up fastly on one of the party in Moscow. Then she at the first time has tried herself as DJ. It has occured in July, 2003 in Moscow club 'Avalon'.
Since 2004 sounding of her tracks has considerably changed in futuristic trancy side. In parallel at this time she worked together with various musicians and DJs. Her first release which was compilated with her tracks took place In November, 2004 'VA Collected On Parts' on Shum Records. In the present year Salamandra's tracks will be released on Russian labels TAM Records and Respect Records and on labels in foreighn countries (Exegene - UK, Camino Blue - Germany). Some of her tunes forthcoming on Close 2 Death Records (UK), Technorganic Recordings (USA) & more. Watch to announcements.
