GERIBA
Quincy Jointz starts a new music-project by the name Geriba together with his partner Jörn in 2003.
“Funk Weapons present Geriba´s 'Guaranteed', sure to set the party off with it's stompy guitar feel. Clayton & Fulcrum and with Moqita take up the remix duties for a jazzy, laid back interpretion. On the flip is All Good Funk Alliacne´s bass funk remix of 'So high' with vocal cuts in the AGFA style.” (Groove Distribution)
“Guaranteed Original - Nicely produced and great for a warm up set. The vocal grab is a good one! So High AGFA Remix - This track is the most party-ful track I have heard in a while. Breakdown into guitar riff is funky, then the D-d-da-dance section and horns just makes everyone jump around. This is a big track if you need something for rokking the house party. Thanks Quincy and keep it coming. Sounding Ace!“ (Flow Dynamics / Soul Harmonics / Rhibosome)
'If a dancefloor bomb is what you're looking for, then Geriba's got what you need. A straight up solid release with enough funk to get you through the summer. Quincy's Boogieburg Mix offers up an excellent idea of what's to come from Citrona and Funk Weapons. Top quality from start to finish!' (Gaskins / Boogieburg)
