Biography of Eric Borgo
In 1990 Eric Borgo was a young teenager into Public Enemy, Ramones and Jazz, thanks to his mother who worked for the legendary Montreux Jazz Festival He got in touch with House music while on holidays in London. Two years later he started mixing at home just for himself. In 1994, he started playing out and had successful local first gigs while studying.
He's played at Rex Paris, E-Werk in Berlin, Mayday in Dortmund, Rocks Lisbon, the Loft in Barcelona, Sullivan room in New York. At the moment he has a monthly residency at The Loft in Lausanne with guests like Ivan Smaghhe, Guido Schneider, Agoria and etc. He also worked for the Swiss national radio station COULEUR 3, on which he had his own weekly show for 5 years.
Eric mixed and compiled two live-mix CD for Zurich’s TRAX Club (EMI). In 2001 He released his first EP, together with the Swiss House producer Dani Konig, on the french Label GoodLife, which was played by Rolando, Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin and etc. In 2002 he produced 'Freaky Games' on Goodlife which was included by Laurent Garnier on a mixedCD.
