Biography of Cyantific

CYANTIFIC are Jon Stanley and Matt Whitehead. Gathered into the Hospital fold in the summer of 2002 on a High Contrast tip-off, the Twickenham pair are carving their own unique profile in the d+b community. Their sounds of Cyance began sometime back...'when we were at school. Matt was in a metal band and I was messing about with a basic wave editor in 96, when I was about 15. Matt had been getting more into the drum+bass I was playing him - we started working together for 4 or 5 years, until taking it seriously in 2000.'

Since signing on the dotted line the Cyantific profile has been rising slowly but steadily; their first full single release '90'/'All Points West' finally dropped Summer 2003, whilst remixes have racked up for Manuel Gottsching, The Nextmen+Dynamite MC and London Elektricity. Their 2nd 12 ('Be True') arrives this side of Christmas with plenty more in their armoury for 2004. Just check the staggering 'Little Green Men' or 'Die 4 You' as proof that this unassuming duo are poised for great things in the coming year.
