Biography of DJ Sandrien
Sandrien has been a true music lover since she was just a small kid. She started DJing at the age of 21 after getting inspired by the intense drive of electronic music. The first time she played her favourite records to an audience, she got such an energy boost, that she knew this was just what she wanted.
One of Sandrien's many DJ-talents is to pick just the right tracks and grooves to match the atmosphere; mixing the most beautiful tracks into an unforgettable set. She combines many styles varieing from deep tech house to electro, minimal, acid and techno.
Besides for her deep sets in which melancholy always plays an important role next to utter and exalting happiness, Sandrien is well-known for her enthousiastic appearance. Every inch of her is constantly moving, dancing and jumping as if giving extra fuel to the beats. And even while busy spinning the records and franticly working the faders and switches, she keeps on keeping an eye on the audience. At particularly effective mix-moments when one turns the head or points the finger at her in a reaction of approval she reacts immediatey by laughing merrily in recognition.
Sandrien has played at all the mayor dancefestivals in Holland like Dancevalley, Mysteryland, 5 Days Off, Awakenings festival, Citysounds and Eurosonic and is resident for Electronation, Twstd and Club Stalker. Besides that she also spins at several big or smaller techhouse/techno and electro parties through-out Holland from Groningen till Maastricht. Her international career is taking off after having played several times in clubs in Germany like P1 where she also was a resident.
This year she was nominated for best DJ Newcomer in Holland by the Gouden Kabouter Awards. Her future plans are producing and spreading her wings beyond the Dutch Borders.

Biography of Carlos Valdes
Born and raised in the Netherlands (14-05-1982) with Chilean parents, Carlos Valdés was interested in music at a very young age. His parents encouraged him at the age of 6 to develop his musical skills and he started to play the piano and sing.
From the age of 17, he started going out at nights and discovered electronic music for which he developed a passion. When he first heard Rolando’s classic ‘Knights of the Jaguar’, he was so impressed that he decided to start buying vinyl.
At the beginning of 2001, he began mixing in a small bar in Amsterdam. Only a few months later he started playing in several clubs.
Carlos Valdés has already performed at well-known clubs and events in the Netherlands like Chemistry, Dimitri’s HighTechSoulMovement, Joost van Bellen’s ‘Zin’ at the Arena, Panama, Twstd, Paradiso, Melkweg Café, Simplon, The Getaway, The Rendez Vouz, Mysteryland, Noorderslag and the Minimal area of Awakenings along side Dinky.
His first international appearance lead immediately to an offer to become a resident at Munich’s P1.Club, Germany. Ibiza 2002 he played at The Underground and on New Year’s Eve 2002 he made his first tour to Turkey together with well-known DJs like 100%ISIS and Angelo d’Onorio.
In January 2003, Carlos Valdés also made his first tour in South America where he played in various clubs, like ‘Family Dance’ (BA, Argentina).
Carlos Valdes runs his own company ‘Soulrock’, he does the publicity for Nachttheater Sugar Factory (www.sugarfactory.nl) , is organizing several projects (Mad, Vreemd, Marry me) and has co-hosted evenings with Electronation in Club More & Winston International (Amsterdam), is producing his own Soulrock shirt (design by Freddy, Freshcotton.com is taking care of distribution and sales) which you can find on this website. Carlos Valdes does bookings for the artists on (www.soulrock.net) and will start a label in the near future. He will start producing his own tracks.
His mixing style can be described as a refreshing, surprising and creative approach that comes from the heart. Freaky Acid House, Electro Tech, Minimal & Tech House.
