Biography of Lady Morana
Lady M(orana) aka Morana Magzan born in 1975., Zagreb, Croatia 32-years old DJ-ane from Zagreb, mother of two children, is passionatly in love with music – not only electronic music, but all kind of music that makes her emotions alive and kickin'.
Grew up on many music styles such as heavy metal, rock, pop, finally found herself in electronic music 10 years ago. After dancing till death in clubs in Zagreb and London, finally decided to take place behind the decks, to express her vision of electronic music.
Started mixin' house on vinyls in No.1 club in Zagreb, continues in many places in Croatia such as: Fanatic (Zagreb), Varazdin (Extravaganza club), Sibenik (Peskarija), Jelsa (Vertigo), Rovinj (MTV Valkana Beach) and also abroad – London (Bar Local), Kosovo, Serbia, Bosnia, Germany....
Her major and most loved style is progressive, combined with electro/minimal sound.
Unhappy with the position of the female DJs in Croatia, she's been started to think more often about making some moore promotion and events with girls/female dj's only :) Her thoughts were realised after she met Slovenian DJ-ane Trick-C who had till then a lot of experience in booking and organising ladies events... She decided to join her agency Urban Divas and Trick-C decides to colaborate with her for some of the projects in Croatia. Lady M is a member of Urban Divas and mainly also partner for projects in Croatia as well... The colaboration started very successfully as some of the first ladies events (named by the agency) took place in Zagreb – in clubs Fanatic where Lady M is working as a resident DJ-ane and Masters and this projects succesfully continued in monthly period...
Also, her first production song – the remix of the Slovenian's hip hop band song called The Game, on which she was working with her collueage Ewan, was very well accepted and soon to be released on Ewanmusic electronic label. More production to come....
