Biography of Thiago Grazioli
Thiago Grazioli has always been conected to music, and at the age of 11 he had already established his first contacts with dance music, going to matin..es in dance clubs. As his interest increased, in 1995 he found out important club culture production names, such as Carl Craig, Dave Clarke, Dave Angel, Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, CJ Bolland and Armand Van Helden. In 1997, he knew the first big Brazilian raves, and his life completely turned around to electronic music.
Influenced by several styles, such as house music and jungle, Thiago chose techno as main route, attracted by its energy and musicality. He also has excellent technique and a diverse background, which he uses to create intense and remarkable sets, abusing in the creation of accurate mixes. Matching this ability with his contagious charisma and “party” spirit, his sets take over the dance floor, turning it into his partner and associate. His first invitations to play came up in 2001, yet in small parties and raves in the countryside of Sao Paulo. In 2003, he accepted the invitatiom to coordinate the group Drop!Techno, producing indoor raves and weekly events in nightclubs, where he invited top national and international DJs to play with new names of the electonic scenario.
His case carries excellent producers’ works, such as Dave Angel – one of his greatest influences -, Joey Beltran, Len Faki, Vanguard, Thomas P. Hackman, Henrick B, Mauro Picotto, Cris Liebing, Hertz, Pascal Feos, Luke Slater and Stanny Fransen.
He has been invited to play in important parties, such as: Circuito (2-year anniversary, 2003); E-force (Playcenter) 2003 e 2004; Underground Reloaded (Sao Bernardo do Campo – SP); Techno Vibe (Leme – SP); Techno Route; Drop!Techno Rave Indoor; Pubtronic; Combust..vel; Rebordose Eletr..nica; System; Sequence; Super (Belo Horizonte - MG); Turn Around; Technova; Revolution (Guaruj.. – SP); Loop T&E; Lov.express; Warehouse (Itapevi – SP); The Flux (Sao Bernardo do Campo – SP); Celebration Techno; Klax Techno Night; Tendence; Carn..guas (..guas de Sao Pedro-SP); Bpm Techno.
He has also been part of the nightclubs: Aloca, Absinto, Lov.e Club, Susi in Transe, Nimitz, Dynamite Pub, Deputamadre (Belo Horizonte - MG), Showbar, Casarao (Sao Pedro-SP), Supperclub, Prime, Clube A, L’officina, Stereo Pub(Curitiba-PR), Visioon, Bubu Disco Lounge, Skye (Hotel Unique).
Radio programs participations: Clubtronic, Lov.e is on the air (97 FM); Popero@96 Rock (Curitiba-PR); Intermerata FM (Itapevi-SP).
TV shows participations: Metropolis – TV Cultura and Bom Dia Sao Paulo – Rede Globo.
He has already co-worked with the Brazilian DJs Murphy, PET Duo, Snoop, Allex S, Camilo Rocha, Renato Lopes, Mau Mau, Paula, Renato Cohen, Grace Kelly Dum, Gustavo Peluzo, Fab, PhillipBraunstein, Gu, Juliao, Bunnys, Rafael Rossi, Mara Bruiser, Fran..a, Mutza, R.Animal, Marcio Zanzi, Santiago and Lukas, and also with top international DJs: Cris Liebing (Germany), Holgi Star (Germany), Jerome Hill (England), Dan Physics (USA), Cristian Varela (Spain) and Christian Fisher (Germany).
Currently, Thiago is part of the Lov.e Sound DJs cast, affiliated to Lov.e Club, the most important nightclub of the Brazilian electronic scenario.
