MD! has been spinning drum n bass in Detroit for over five years, with a style ranging from the ass movin' Jump-Up to the head-bobbing, pulsating Tech/Dark-Step, and even the smooth jazzy sounds of Intelligent. MD! has been a resident at the Necto in Ann Arbor (voted #1 club in America for 2003 by URB Magazine) and has had engagements at Motor Lounge, Breakbeat Etiquette, Substance, and has played such events as Feel the Dream (Cincinnati, Ohio), TechMoto Fest v1.0, It's All About You, and on the concourse of the 2001-2005 DEMFs (Movement AKA Fuse:In). MD! is ready to prove to all that Detroit is not just solely a 'Techno Town'. He is also one of the founders of NEFARIOUS.NET, a web portal entirely dedicated to the Detroit electronic music community.
Nefarious.Net has been a great asset to the scene in Detroit, offering various services: streaming music, a current event calendar for underground events in Detroit, cool photos, free web services to Detroit based DJs, production companies, clubs, and electronic music enthusiasts, and much more! Nefarious.Net even extended an open invitation to over 150 local DJs to come spin in their booth on the concourse of Hart Plaza at all of the past five Detroit Electronic Music Festivals, and looks to be actively involved in future DEMFs. Nefarious.Net is also home to the largest Detroit based electronic music online message board, DetroitLuv. Feel free to email MD! for booking or other info.
On October 31, 2003, MD! released his latest mixed effort entitled ID:2 : Darkness Falls. This is the second disc in the Infectious Drum series. Where ID:1 was an intelligent style roller, ID:2 takes you on a journey of hard tech beats and heavy bass lines.
