Biography of f_tts : f_tts

Michiel Vanden Broecke aka f_tts grew up on a diet of hardcore/early rave.. since he found some tranquility (living together with his girlfriend and her kids) in his life he evolved to a more relaxed view on life & music. Nowadays he's mainly interested in bringing new sounds to people when dj'ing or playing live and combining early influences with contemporary electronica.

Some two years ago he met Bram De Jong (smartelectron:x coder) and Jan Vansteenwegen at a local café in Ghent where he and some friends did a monthly dj-night. After long conversations & discussions about music plus seeing loads of live gigs the idea behind GhentSessions (a new view on how electronic music gigs are showcased) steadily grew. Since then Ghent Sessions invited local/national and international artists/vj's (Funkstorung, Styrofoam, Ross Bencina, Xela, Logreybeam, Yasume, Andreas Tilliander, Brothomstates, Posthuman, Köhn, Eavesdropper, Affective Disorder, 3Form, Het Chemisch Circus...).
