Biography of Fei-Fei
Take a deep breath. Because once Fei-Fei takes the decks, you won't have time to come up for air. She's at the top of her game and has taken the industry by storm. But don't let her looks deceive you--this burgeoning DJ and producer has captivated audiences worldwide with her pounding mix of techno and trance. With steady gigs for Spundae, Red, Avalon and Godskitchen, mixes for internationally renowned radio shows Ministry of Sound and ETN.fm, and productions getting attention from some of the industry's biggest names, Fei-Fei is rapidly becoming the next big name in dance music.
Fei-Fei began her musical career early on as a classical pianist studying for over fifteen years before graduating to the turntable as her instrument of choice. She has developed a distinct sound -- an energetic mix of techno and trance, dazzling audiences with her timing, key mixing skills and layer upon layer of beats, slamming as many as thirty tracks in an hour.
Seeking to prove herself on a larger scale, she moved to Los Angeles, one of the most competitive markets in the US. There, she flourished. She was discovered immediately by Club Red where she amassed an impressive local following. She quickly became one of LA's top female DJ's, alongside DJ Rap and Irene. In 2004 she got her first gig at Godskitchen sharing the stage with Ferry Corsten, Judge Jules and many more, including a tag team set with Eddie Halliwell. Fei-Fei then landed at Spundae and hasn't looked back since, touring across the states as well as internationally.
Dominating the airwaves, Fei-Fei's mixes are featured regularly on Ministry of Sound Radio, Power 106 FM (LA's highest rated dance music show-Power Tools), Grooveradio, Sirius Satellite Radio as well as her monthly show on internet giant ETN.fm.
2007 promises to be a great year as Fei-Fei returns to the studio to deliver the same kind of hard driving beats that audiences have come to love in her DJ sets. Hard and dirty, guaranteed. Just remember to breathe first...because you won't have a chance to later.
