Biography of Myom

I came in touch with electronic music in the mid-nineties. at first i used to play in a band called motorshift: we covered various electronic genres (techno, drum&bass, ...) while not using any synths or keyboards, just drums, 2 guitars, bass, percussion & didgeridoo. everybody played through masssive effects. we were pretty far out back in 1995! unfortunately we split up and everybody started to produce his own music.

in 2001 some of the original band-members (flextronic, alex & me) founded the netlabel 'tempo90'. after our label launch-party became a huge sucess, we continued to promote drum&bass & breakbeat events in our small german town. djing became my dominant musical activity. my own music production reduced itself more & more to provide soundtracks for films by students from the local university until it ceased completely in 2004.

in 2006 i picked up production again with a more dancefloor-approach. i hope you like the results!
as a dj i like to cover the varieties of the styles i dedicate myself to: drum&bass and (nu) breaks. i´m very much into reggae/ragga/dub-tinged tracks for a few years now
