Biography of Exercise One
Exercise One is actually two: Marco Freivogel and Ingo Gansera, makers of rolling minimal techno based in Berlin, Germany.
The pair met working at the !K7 label and began the project in a basement studio in Kreuzberg, which they shared with Luciano, Memo and Jeremy P. Caulfield. Caulfield was actually the first to encourage them to send out demos, one of which, ‘Roll With You’, was released as their first 12”. The pair founded their own record label Lan Muzik in 2005, releasing Donato Dozzy, Arne Michel and Jacopo Carreras as well as their own music. They’ve also begun to focus more on remixes, remixing Sebo and Sweet N Candy for Mobilee and Dumb-Unit respectively.
Exercise One are also gaining a reputation as a formidable live act with successful appearances at summer festivals such as Melt!, Fusion and Bittersweet as well as off-Sonar in Barcelona. While many computer-oriented artists attempt to recreate studio productions in a live context, Yum on all counts.Exercise One work the other way around, jamming out music and then editing the results into tight, focused tracks.
Finally, if you’re hungry for a little more Exercise One and you happen to be in Berlin, grab an Exercise One sandwich at Post26, the small coffee & sandwich shop the duo run together with friends Luciano, Memo and Jacopo Carreras near their studios and Hardwax Records in Kreuzberg.

Comment: This is a nice live mix of minimalism from Mobilee’s Exercise One. It's packed with plenty of groovy beats, minimal bleeps and acid treats. Less is definitely more and this is well worth a listen. It has a good sound quality too.

i love this music and this techno genre, emotion, percussive and acid sound. quality of record is good and the longer too.
