Biography of Ruxpin
Born in 1981, Jonas Thor Gudmundsson, better known as Ruxpin first started producing music at the age of 14. His first release Mission EP was released on Uni:Form Recordings 1999 and the same year his first LP entitled Radio was released on the same label. Through his debut album, he got in touch with the highly acclaimed label Elektrolux where he released his next two LPs (Midnight Drive & Avalon) and also one LP (Magrathea) on their sublabel Mikrolux. Jonas has done various live shows with artists such as MúM, Biogen, Alex Paterson, Bola, Yagya, Jega and many more.

Comment: mmmm One of the most trippy sets of this man, a incredible minimal electro and sweet sounds, yeah really glitchy too, is a little groovie sometimes but really trancier then, good job!!.

Comment: I absolutely loved this set. It wasn't as textural as I originally thought it might have been and ended up having a more downtempo feel with a nice splash of ambient and experimental at times. The tracks really move together nicely throughout this whole set. There are quite a few very interesting tracks on here I probably wouldn't have heard otherwise. Especially the track about Zentrix the dog, I loved that. Overall this is a great set to just chill with, although there are even a few tracks that make you want to least move your head to the beat. Excellent download!

Comment: This man is a genius. Very nice and very slow idm-ambient set. Perfect for this time of year for e-z hanging around at home in illegal mental states.. 62 min. of nice pads, beats, glitchs and klicks and very nice mix. Some parts gets very experimental.

Comment: What can I say, I have to agree with what everybody else says about this mix, this is truly a delight to hear; nice sound encoding, nice tracks, exactly what I needed for my current state of mind. I would recommend this mix to everybody who is looking just to lay back and chill for a little while.

Comment: This is the first time I have heard of this guy and I must say damn, what a lush set! It's the perfect winding down chill out mix I've been looking for. The sound quality is also top notch at 320 kbps.
