Biography of Ioan Evo

Ioan Evo has come along way from an early classically trained background driven along by a passion for the production and playing of music, applying his understanding of music structure to the technical and deck skills of electronic dance music and experimenting with House, Hard House, Trance, Techno and more for over 7 years before falling in love with his current funky/electro style which he cleverly intersperses with plenty of scratching and on-the-fly special effects. His sets are full of energy, layering catchy accapellas through 3-deck mixing to compliment his upfront music selection that enthrals the dance floor whether for peak time club performances alongside headliners from Godskitchen, Ibiza and Gatecrasher or setting the mood with warm-up and lounge sets. Ioan Evo embraces the technology available to the modern day DJ and is accomplished in the use of Pioneer CDJ1000 decks, utilising all of the effects/loops to stretch the musical envelope and is currently developing his skills on Reason 3.0 with his own productions in progress to continually develop and expand his trademark funky/tech/electro sound.
