Biography of Galen
Enchanted by music from an early age, Galen tried guitar, trumpet, clairnet, flute and vocals before finally committing to keyboards at the age 18. During the 80's he played in several bands, influenced by artists like Depeche Mode, Yello, Prince, and Gary Numan. He discovered the SF House music scene in 1992, and learned to DJ that year, triggering his creation of the PacificSound System and the legendary Sunset Parties.
In addition to the PacificSound Events, Galen is a resident DJ at Shattered (DNA Lounge), and has been a guest DJ at countless clubs and events at home, across the nation, and around the world in Canada, England, Italy, and France
