Biography of DJ Double D
DJ DOUBLE D /Dimitar Dimitrov/ was born on February,the 28th of the 1980 in Bourgas,Bulgaria.Keen on music since early childhood,the idea of becoming a DJ arises while watching his father's first DJ competitions at the 'Rousalka' and 'Golden Apple' discoteques at Sunny Beach.DJ Double D`s preofessional career starts in the begining of 1996 at the 'Calligoula' discoteque, Sunny Beach. In 1997 he becomes the most respective DJ in Bulgaria at 'Yalta' club /Sofia/. Soon after he was been twice awarded number 1 for Eastern Bulgaria, in many DJ competitions he takes positions always in TOP 3. In 1997 DJ Double D works in the largest discoteque at the Black Sea eastcoast - 'Palm Beach', afterwards he is invited in 'Trokadero' night club. There he is the first among the local DJs who starts introducing club culture using mainly house music and imposes hits.In 2003 he starts his own radio show - 'In The Mix', later he starts another one- 'House Energy' at 'Atlantic' Radio. The best from house music is being presented there.Nowdays 'House Energy' is the favourite radioshow in Bourgas on Iujen Briag radiostation every thursday,friday,saturday from 20:00h to 22:00h and sunday-from 22:00 to 24:00h.At the summer of the year 2003 together with 'Relaxators' he organises the most imperssive house party featuring DJ Pat Cue.DJ Double D starts to promote parties for club Alibi.At the begining of year 2005 DJ Double D and his partner Stoian Tzarev are creating DJ promotion agency named '12 Inches'.Later the best regional and local house DJs Zarko,Tilt and DJ Mosquito are joining the agency.On 27.10.2005 '12 Inches' are creating the best house club on the Eastcoast named Dance Club Excess.Soon Excess becomes the most popular and famous place in Bulgaria.Dance Club Excess is the cradle of the biggest party events on the Eastcoast.DJ Double D has worked with all of the best Bulgarian DJs and with names like Tony Thomas, Marcelo Castelli, Dimas a.k.a. D-Formation, Simon & Shaker, RPO, Roman Lieske and many more. DJ Double D`s style is always dynamic and he loves to mix live infront of the dancers.His favourite music styles are Progressive house, Tribal house, Deep house & Electro.
