Biography of Dancepig
Following the release of his first record entitled the ‘Electrolites EP’ on his new label King Nail Records Dancepig has set up a studio in the Prenzlauer Berg area of Berlin. The Irish electro producer and live performer has been rocking both local dance floors and those of more exotic locations such as Tijuana, Mexico!
Dancepig's unique blend of up front electro and artful songwriting has recently attracted the attention of electro don David Carretta. Carretta’s label Space Factory based in Marseille, France, is to release Dancepig's upcoming ‘Beneath Me EP’ featuring remixes from Swiss producer Plastique De Ręve and Carretta himself.
Dancepig’s live performances consist of vocals, FX, a smattering of synth-pop magic and an indefinable “je ne sais hog”. Dancepig has shared a stage with names such as Dr.Lektroluv, The Hacker, Tiefschwarz, Vitalic, Alden Tyrell, 2 Many DJs, DJ Serge, Andrew Weatherall, David Duriez, T.Raumschmiere and David Carretta.
