Biography of DJ Helga
From her very tender age Helga was attracted by electronic music, but the first signs of the vinyl passion appeared after she made acquaintance with a certain guru-DJ from Moscow. Her first public performance happened only after two months of mixing practice - in February, 2000. Then she only had enough plates for a two-hour set, and the next DJ's delay could result in a disaster. Now, after some years, she has a nice collection of over 700 12' which grows with the time.
In 2000 Helga became a resident of Moscow-Berlin cafe, where together with experience she met many useful people who made it possible for her to start a club DJ career. From 2001 she regularly plays in Mix.
Helga played in clubs of New-York, Riga, Vilnius, Klaipeda, Smolensk, Samara, Rostov, Ekaterinburg and other cities. At present she is a resident of Mix club, internet pub Phlegmatic Dog where she plays at famous Techno Thursdays and Snezhnost parties, at Rynda Parties on the boat, and in Mio where she got the Best Club's DJ 2003 Award.
Her styles are very different depending on the venues - from deep house to techno and electro.
