Biography of Kyau and Albert

1990 - 1993
Ralph Kyau makes his first experiences with the production of electronic music, he performes his tracks live on several underground techno parties and releases his first record (Kyau 'Modulation Experiments') in the end of 1993.

1994
Together with the DJ Shandy Ralph founds the label Harmony Recordings. They sign Mirco de Govia as their first artist. Steven Moebius Albert begins to produce his own tracks. In the Summer 1994 they meet their first time.

1995
They produce their first tracks together for a live performance of Steven Moebius Albert and realize that they have common ideas of sound.

1996
Their first single 'Let me in' is released. From now on they are on the road under their artist name Kyau vs. Albert. Their two small studios emerge and they found a music production company.

1997
Early this year they found their record label Euphonic. Rough Mullar (aka Sonorous) and Ronski Speed are signed for the new label. With the solid foundation of Euphonic, Moebius und Ralph are finally able to present their ideas to the public audience.

1998
The guys produce various tracks under different pseydonyms. The first Euphonic label compilation 'We come in peace' is released. Kyau vs. Albert become a very popular live act.

1999
A house production of Ralph and Moebius (Moebius AG 'Do what I want') becomes a club hit without any further promotion and enters the German Dance Charts.

2000
The single 'Great/Loebau' enters the German Dance Charts in January, promoted by several German radio stations. The first major record company WEA Records (Warner Music Germany) is interested in Kyau vs. Albert and they start to cooperation over the following 3 years.

2001
The single 'Outside' including the video clip is on TV. Paul van Dyk plays the single several times and invites the guys in his radio show. 'Outside' becomes a massive radio hit and enters the German single sales charts at rank 74.
This is followed by remix requests of acts like KayCee and Kosheen and first TV gigs. The guys are on the road as live act or DJ act nearly every week and do work very hard on their new single 'Save Me'.

2002
In the beginning of the year the recording of the single 'Save Me' is finished. Kyau vs. Albert produce several remixes for other artists. In August 2002 'Save Me' enters the German single sales charts at rank 44.

2003
In March the first longplayer called 'Review' is released - a compilation of the best productions and remixes. The CD becomes 'Record of the month' in the German Raveline magazine and 'Album of the week' at Sunshine Live Radio. They produce the single 'Velvet Morning', which enters the German single sales charts at rank 74.

2004
In January the single 'Velvet Morning' gets a release on Anjunabeats in the UK. The following single 'Not With You' is featured by the singer Julie Lutat. In July this song enters the German single sales charts at rank 93. In August after almost one year of hard work, the debut album 'Here We Are Now' is released in Germany. Kyau vs. Albert do a remix of 'Jump The Next Train' by Young Parisians. This song becomes a worldwide club hit. Instead of accepting a lot of remix offers they do remix themselves to release 'Made Of Sun' and 'Falling Anywhere' from their album.

2005
The single 'Made Of Sun/Falling Anywhere' is released in Germany on Euphonic and in the UK on Anjunabeats. The single becomes a worldwide club hit and their biggest success so far. In Spring Kyau vs. Albert release their first mix compilation, called 'Positive Ways 4'. Later they mix one CD of the Technoclub compilation series. The album 'Here We Are Now' gets released in the USA, Russia and Asia too, and brings them many new fans. Kyau vs. Albert tour around the globe and start to work on their 2nd album.

2006
In the spring the double-single 'Walk Down/Kiksu' gets released. They do a video clip for the track 'Walk Down'. In Autumn, after nearly 2 years of work, the 2nd album 'Worldvibe' comes in the shops in many countries all around the globe. At the same time the single 'Are You Fine?' comes out.
