Biography of DJ Dee Banse
Grew up learning the Piano in Fiji while living with my family in the University of the South Pacific. Moved to New Zealand and started picking up a few other instruments and then finally onto Japan where I fell in love with djing. These days ive been getin back on the keyboard making tunes and just loving the whole creative thing. Nothing beats stayin up till the early hours of the morning tryin ta finish a track and then listening to it with a good espresso in ya hand. Have hooked up with a bunch of musicians here in Japan and am now the second half of The Lava Project .
The Lava Project is Jacob James Henry and myself, weve been makin a lot of soulful electronic music and have been around since 2002. We have been pullin in other musicians too, a guitarist, percusionist, an extra keyboard player, Jacob on keyboard and vocals and finally myself on the decks with the beats n samples.
