David Siska has been an active part of Chicago's electronic music scene for over 10 years as a writer, DJ, event promoter & musician. His radio presence on Chicago's influential WNUR 89.3 fm started in 95 & he’s organized shows with such groups as Interrupt Media, Koncept, & Abstract Science. His musical sensibilities are informed by his 20+ years as a violinist. You can expect to hear music that slides into the deep end on both a textural & melodic level.
Known for his long running radio show on WNUR (now defunct) and his exquisite selection of fine techno (and related materials), Dave Siska has been sorely missed since relocating to San Francisco last September. His ability to delve into the depths of techno history and place it side-by-side with best records of today reveals the relatively timeless nature of techno music. His DJ exploits have seen him performing alongside an impressive array of talent, including Surgeon, Heiko Laux, John Tejada, Dan Bell, Technasia, Monolake, Kit Clayton, Phoenicia, Richard Devine, Ectomorph, the Advent, and John Selway, among others.
Dave mentored Noomenon, Sir K and m50. He acted as Music Director for Streetbeat in the late 90s. He hosted Clinically Inclined until September 2006.

Matt MacQueen co-hosted the Clinically Inclined show with David Siska on Friday evenings until September 2006. Matt has been orbiting WNUR since 1999, always with an emphasis on mixing brand new music with proper classics. His DJ sets highlight the latest in Detroit-flavored Techno and House, with a strong nod to it's roots; the 70's and 80's classics of the pre-techno era like funk, soul-jazz, Italo disco, new wave and first-generation jackin' Chicago house. Digging deep in the crates, Matt makes a concerted effort to mix a wide variety of funky futuristic grooves from ALL genres and years, in the spirit of Detroit's most inspirational and open-minded radio DJ: Electrifyin' Mojo (AKA - Charles Johnson, respect!).
