Biography of Alex Blazer
German national, living in Zurich, Switzerland until August 2006, Alex started spinning in 2000 when he decided that his record collection should not remain stacked in shelves but rather be shared with other music lovers.
Initially playing at local private venues and bars focusing on warm soulful and deep house sets, he eventually expanded into funky/pumpin and more progressive sounds always being adaptive to the venue, the crowd and the time of play.
Over the last 5 years Alex played in various clubs and bars in Zurich such as Kaufleuten and Club Diagonal as Lex Barker or Dj Alex. Since 2004 he co-hosts the Private Party series which is well known for entertaining exclusive crowds at exclusive places. He appeared amongst 200!!? other Djs at the world famous 2006 Streetparade.
A true passionate about music, Alex also enjoyed guest-dj appearances since 2001 when vacationing in Asia at QBar Bangkok, BedSupperclub in Bangkok and at Singapore’s Liquid Room and the Attica.
