Biography of Abiz Sonko
I started producing and mixing in 2000 influenced by very different artists: Beastie Boys, Massive Attack, Portishead, The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, Laurent Garnier, Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin. Since the early beginnings, I separated producing and mixing: the music I mixed and the music I produced had to be totally different. I started producing ambient and big-beat and mixing house and techno. But today, both things have a lot in common, and I feel more comfortable producing trancy-breakbeat and mixing electro and minimal. I've been playing in local pubs and clubs (hiFi, Neo, Style of Sound, iClub, Charro...) and made a live act sharing stage with Terence Fixmer and Adriano Canzian at Mira! Una Moderna Festival, celebrated in 14th October 2006 in Albacete.
