Biography of Cozmic Spore
mike brickner was born and raised in detroit, michigan, usa. the development of his unique style began in 1996 with the purchace of a roland xp80 workstation. soon mike began to perform his techno experiments live in detroit. these first events where the proving grounds for evil frequencies now known as 'cozmic spore.' his passion for techno later brought him to the turntables. it was not long before mike brickner met up with another one of his dark techno kind, michelle 'punisher' herrmann. together they started their own label called seismic records in 1998. seismic records has been mike´s primary outlet for his hypnotic yet aggressive edge.(hit continue for more on the spore!!)
since the unearthing of the seismic detroit label, cozmic spore has preformed at some of the most intense events and clubs in detroit as well as international appearances: wish list, bliss, transformer, aqua velvet, acupuncture, convex, dally in the alley music festival - detroit, mi, the motor lounge - hamtramck, mi, club 1-x, clutch cargos (pontiac), fire (toronto, canada), and club system (toronto, canada)
