Biography of DJ RePete
DJ RePete began DJing progressive house on vinyl in 2002 and his style certainly does reflect this. Focusing on controlled, tightly drawn out mixes, showcasing some of the smoothest tribal progressive around!
Intelligently layered galactic grooves with lashings of funk, flowing through to crunchier minimal psychedelia. Best suited to night vibes. Signed to Cosmic Conspiracy Records in 2004, and since then he’s been steadily weaving his cosmic sorcery across the land, and New Zealand outdoor events and festivals. RePete administers the straight and funky electro direction of progressive for the label. RePete is also 1/2 of warped Dj duo Repetitive Dumbness, with DJ Wizdumb. Repetitive Dumbness showcases an unusual mix of quirky minimal versus electro prog.
