Tight sets need experimentation. Not in that John Cage sort of way - but in that 'damn, did you really just mix Falco on 45 with Jaydilla and 8th Wonder? Their North American (A) and Japanese (M) roots make great musical partners. Hip hop that respects the classics and integrates the new school DJ techniques.

Changing it up since the late 90's with their radio show on Groovetech (r.i.p), opening for artists such as Ming&FS and DJ Krush and starting up club nights like 'Sample' or 'The Breaks'. A + M can be found playing at your favorite club, working the turntables on an upcoming project with Non (shadowhuntaz) or talking with respected talent about joining the mvmnt.

Andy Sells and Joshua Warren started FCS North in 1997. Mune Yamakawa moved to Seattle from Tokyo and has been playing/producing with Sells and Warren since 2001. Members of FCS have spent time in Satisfact and United Schach Corporation, and DJ'd as AMS + Mugfrosty and FSCS. The group has toured and shared stages with DJ Krush, !!!, Modest Mouse, Garage a Trois, Ztrip and Kid Koala.
