Biography of DJ Wood
DJ WOOD has been behind the decks for 15+ years now. Some might consider that a lengthy span, but those who know Wood know he's only just begun. From his studio projects for TwentyHz Music, to his demanding 4 turntable DJ sets alongside partner dj soo, Wood is ready to break into the international scene as a seasoned pro on the wheels of steel. The past year has been a busy one, with his first two 12' releases on TwentyHz and 2 well recieved mixtape releases ('The Right Hook' and 'Mangladehin' w/ dj soo), not to mention a slew of dj sets (including opening slots for the likes of Qbert, Fort Knox Five & All Good Funk Alliance) and the sometimes overwhelming task of managing Boomtown Records' Vancouver outlet. The new year promises to be another big one for Woody, with 3 more 12' releases on the calendar. Watch out for this west coast stalwart at a party near you!
