MPIII.com features downloads of live sets and mix sets posted by our members. These live sets and mix sets are posted in appreciation for the artists that created them. You will find biographies, images and links for all the artists featured on the site. This helps in promoting the people that create the music which we love. Biography of Jackie Misfit
Jackie Misfit is a 27 years old Dj and Singer. Since she was born music has always been her passion, sticking with her throughout her life she now says ' she can't get rid of it anymore '. At the age of 6 she starts to play piano, practising on a yamaha keyboard. Still dreaming for a real piano, she finally gets one after 3 years and then joins the Conservatorium of Music at 13 studing piano and singing. In the meantime she learns how to play guitar and bass and form a tripop band where she sings and plays guitar. At 15 Jackie Loves Hardcore and she soon becomes a 'Numberina', going every saturday with her friends to a club called 'Number One' to see people such as Lenny Dee, D-Force, Dna and many more.
In 1999 she moves to London and discovers the Underground Sound System with its acid techno funky wavesound goes to Rave parties too see the lights of Chris Liberator, Dave the Drummer ,Geezer, Zeb and more...
She also writes music with a band called TLT ( the last train ) with who she produces a track ' House Bloomy' for a movie filmed in London.In 2001 Jackie puts her hands on decks for the first time, in 2002 she gets her first gig in a club called the Dangeoun. She writes a track with My Digital Soul and Acrylic Airways for a snowboarding video and joins a female band called Purity, where she gets to play different instruments on different tracks, but mainly keyboards and mixing. Their style is electro rock with drum 'n bass. Soon she becomes resindent dj in a well established Uk techno night organised by the MFM sound called Chemical Warfare and this was just the beginning of it; her style starts to change and is more hardtechno, she loves Carnage label and Gazole label. She meets Lenny Dee and Darc Marc with who she spends some studio time writing. In 2004 Jackie leaves Purity and she become singer in a rock metal band with which she writes many songs. After frequenting the Music Technology and Sound Engineer School she sets up her own studio.
In 2005 her interest leads more and more towards Techno and Electro, discovering new artists such as The Hacker, Dj Hell, Kill Memory Crash and many more. She loves Dave Clarke and his techniques. She also buys some drum 'n bass records for herself. She tries and mix her dj career with her singing trying to sing over her mixing, with effects.
