Biography of DJ CPI

CPI aka Caitlyn is 27 years old and lives in Ottawa Canada. She started as a noise/ambient/performance artist in the mid 90s and started DJing in 1999.

Starting with spinning drone ambient, she expanded her repertoire in to abstract hiphop, downtempo, IDM and electro. She is known for her “aggrssive blending” mixing style.

She has been promoting her own undergound Divergence dance parties since 2004. In 2006 she started a monthly movie series called Divergence Movie Night.

Caitlyn has won numerous awards for her community and activism work, and has received many accolades from people that are really high and enjoy her mixes. On that note, she also is a veteran of the Harm Reduction scene.
