Biography of Innovation
Born in the late 70's, Inno has been subjected to an array of electronic sound, songs, and a revolution of EDM. A native to the Twin Cities only begins to describe the influences that has affected the productions and his Djing. With a blend of east coast hip hop, west coast funk, southern grittiness, and the Midwestern fusion give the experimental and always edgy sound Innovation is known for. From hip-hop to techno, trance to breaks, and anything that's progressive, music has been the main gear in this thing we call life. 'I have been surrounded in music since I can remember, playing guitar in basements, to playing at clubs from Minneapolis to San Diego. I love being behind the decks and hearing the endless possibilities of sound in electronic and dance music. Keeping an open ear is a must, because you never know what new psychoacoustic sound can be obtained.
From rockin with the guys from Down Lo (downlotunes.com), hypin and cuttin with the best underground MC on the planet Deploi (deploi.net), to dropping dance tracks on a weekend night downtown, it is always about the music. Guess you gotta check a show to see what really goes down!
DJ Innovation has rocked shows and clubs with many international and national DJ's and many more to come; from Christopher Lawrence, George Acosta, Deepsky, Matthew Dekay, Jimmy Van M, Barry Weaver, Jack Trash, Demetri Nocturnal, Kenny Gino, Nick Nice, Baby Anne, and of course all the Sound In Motion jocks.
After getting the support from the Twin Cities premier dance promotion and event company Sound In Motion in late 2005, you can see Innovation at a party near you. With his new residency with SIM, and a new artist album due out late 2006, look for Inno in a city near you!'
