Andrea Grasso aka Under Electric Shock,born in 1985, began to dj when he was 17 together to his elder brother. In those years he became confident with the turntables,bought his first eps but his absolute love for the decks arised at the age of 18,after him partecipating to the first parties of Orbeat in the old river park at Caserta where names like RICHIE HAWTIN, DAVE CLARKE, JEFF MILLS, PACO OSUNA and MARCO CAROLA have come to play. In that period his sound got better defined and became much more techno style. When he was 18 (in 2003) he has decided to move to Bologna to have a major opportunity to express his musical preferences without any restriction. In 2004 he became resident dj at the House Cafe ,which was one of the most popular places in town, during their happy hours where he shared his techno style with the public,often mixed with a number of different influences, with a great success. His dj sets are eclectic and he manages to melt skillfully a number of genres that makes the listener travel between the genres like funk,dark minimal techno,pixie-trance, intelligent dance music, new wave house and melodic techno. In 2005 he moves his first steps as a producer and in 2007 there will be released his first ep by the german net-label POLYTONE, which also has released the works of Medina (Spain) e Acumen (France). Since the September 2006 he collaborates with HQH @ CASSERO (Bologna) and DISTRICT 33 (Milan) and during their parties UES has played together to the names that can be listed as MISS YETTI, UNDO, D.A.R.Y.L, LUOMO, DRAMA SOCIETY, JUSTUS KONCKE, WATER LILLY, LEE VAN DOWSKY, BENNA, MATHIAS KADEN, TOUANE, GIORGIO GIGLI ecc...
