Biography of Zaic
Started deejaying in 1999 in Helsinki. In 2000, together with Frazer Jones, a good friend and dj, formed a promo group named Beatroot Productions which among other artistic events, such as modern art exhibitions (SALEFISH ART), organized a number of successful parties dedicated to minimal electronic music - MNML_LIVE and SOUNDVICE in Helsinki’s Alahuone/Makasiini club.
In 2002-03 resident of Jump Inn (We got beef) club. Upon moving back to Moscow in October 2004 ZAIЦ becomes resident of Anton Kubikov’s Techno Thursdays at Phlegmatic Dog club and Deep Mix Moscow radio.
Simultaneously Phlegmatek is born as a label and promo group, which in 2005 in cooperation with TECHNO-TECHNO organized a series of minimal techno parties named MICROCLIMATE. These days ZAIЦ is a resident of Dj HELGA’s weekly Minimal for lonely men at Shanti club and a guest dj in Moscow clubs such as Plastilin, Gorod etc. During 2005 in Moscow he played at the parties together with Ricardo Villalobos, Jay Haze, Someone Else and Der Dritte Raum.
