Headed up by DJ Serious and DJ Fase, and hosted by Theology 3 and Planet Pea, Stylistik Endeavours has been a Toronto underground Hip Hop mainstay since 1997. Starting out on CKLN 88.1 FM during the red eye slot of Tuesday's at 2-4a, DJ Serious and host Planet Pea held down the Toronto underground scene at its most crucial time. Serious and Pea's weekly jam, Planet Mars was the stage where local emcee's, DJs, graf writers and Bboys did their thing live, and Stylistik Endeavours was the auditory component that enhanced the movement. Moving to CIUT 89.5 FM in 1998, they continued to rock with a stronger and more dedicated signal at their current primetime slot of Friday's 8-10p. In 2002, DJ Fase was added to the team as Serious and Pea toured extensively on their own creative ventures and Theology 3 was added as the full-time host in 2004. With help of the intern staff (Tea Boogs, Pearce, Josh Wonder), Stylistik Endeavours has been able to continue as Toronto's example of a true underground Hip Hop radio show, with segments including Breakbeat Science (playing the original songs from the samples used in Hip Hop songs) and The Beatmaker Series (rocking Hip Hop producers' repertoire).
