What the hell is ashtar-DXD

It´s nothing more than our name. It was a long way to find him, and it´s the same to explain. To make it short. Search with any engine 'ashtar' and you will find something like an ufo-religion. Short, ashtar is king, So oni took over this name. But then we started to make musik jointly. To manage this we add 'DXD', it sounds like something chemically, so it sounds good.

ashtar-DXD consist´s of 'oni' and 'Mr. Rascal'. oni is an japanese demon, but with two faces. One of the destroyer and of the protector. What can we told about Mr. Rascal, he´s just always having fun on everything.

We´ve started to make musik in 93. This was the time of hardcore. But hardcore was too fast selfeating. We´re pissing on commerze! Jungle became an powerfull movement. Nowadays divided into fucking chillstuff, sounds like everything shit and some good dark, fast or noize things.

To make it short, in these few years we saw our idols becoming stars and then dying fast. We have no idols anymore. We´re trying not to be traped in any movement. Is our way to turn fast, everytime changing. Being everwhere where we can do what we like. The only limit is not to produce commerze. Building an own style by stepping through all others. Especially near to digital hardcore. Oh I know that sounds like we wanna be stars, fuck ya, we just wanna survive. we don´t want to be eaten up by mainstream. And the best weapon against is noize and no musical rules.

But even with noize you can make a sellout in this fucking world. If you don´t wanna be a commerze pisser you can only try not to get involved in musical industries. just try living only for a underground scene. - we try it - and you ?
