Having been touring the states pretty intensely for the last few months, one thing that i've always found is that i get about 50 dogs standing around the decks after the gig asking if ive got any cds? - well my usual reply is 'yeh, i got this wicked Barry Manilow number in my car' - but in all seriousness, the breakbeat kaos mix cd is a bit long in the tooth for showcasing to new recruits from the misissipi ... so i decided to do a series of mixes with my esteemed companion Monsieur Darrison (who i'm currently collaborating with on a few things), and press a couple of hundred to give out on the road. The Red mix is the first in the series, just a compilation of some of my favourite tunes from the last six months, there's some new numbers on there too, most of it is my stuff ... just shit i'm feeling .. so download, have a listen in your car, hopefully it will give you as much pleasure listening to it as we had recording it ;]... as Darri sais, little something for the streets, hip hop style, the first in a series.
