Biography of Thomas Krome
Swedish techno/dance artist Thomas Krome has served as a producer and remixer for other acts, in addition to issuing his own releases. While the roots of Krome's original music are definitely based in techno, his style incorporates organic elements as well, including funk and subtle jazz flourishes (as evidenced by Krome's singles and EPs from the late '90s — Woodcarver, Egg Plant EP, Kat I Baren, Bitches From Hell EP, Lord of Darkness EP, January, Carbonator EP, and Woodcarver's Nightmare). Krome has served as producer on recordings by such artists as J. Antoni, Terry Lee Brown Jr., Roadkillah, Danny Tenaglia, and Monika Kruse, remixed tracks for Samuel Onervas and Sven Vath, and contributed to numerous dance compilations (including such series as Electric Kingdom, Sound of Eukatech, and Phuture Tech Trance).

Comment: Great set! Since his Burned Out LP and Woodcarver EP i have always kept an eye out for his stuff. Good to see that he is still mixing hard techno with a funky/housey edge. Worth a listen by those uninitiated to the Krome sound.

Comment: Hard rolling techno is the order of the day here and Thomas Krome delivers. Some great stand out tracks and decent mixing. Nice!

Comment: Ever since I picked up Woodcarver's Nightmare EP, which is recommended, I knew this bloke was gonna be special and this mix doesn't disappoint! It has a banging selection of tracks from club/funky to tough Techno too with great technique to match. Download this mix!
