Biography of Miss Honey Dijon
Miss Honey Dijon is the fiercest DJ and Performer to emerge from New York City in quite some time! Hailing from the 'Windy City,' this Chicago native grew up with the innovative sounds of house music. Becoming a fixture as a legendary dancer in the underground scene, Miss Honey was exposed to the true pioneers of the house such as Ron Hardy, Andrae Hatchett and of course, the Grammy Award Winner Frankie Knuckles. It would be friends like Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak, Cajmere/Green Velvet, Chez Damier and Danny Tenaglia who would ultimately inspire Miss Honey to become a DJ.
After a short stint in Washington D.C., Miss Honey relocated to New York City and quickly became one of the town's top 'gender illusionists'. Miss Honey has been featured in 'Wigstock: The Movie', nominated for several local awards including Best DJ, and continues to perform and DJ in the city's hottest venues. However, all this could not squelch Miss Honey's passion for playing the music that had inspired her dancing and performing. Miss Honey spins an eclectic mix of Chicago house, disco, techno, minimal tracks and the deep, tribal sounds of the New York underground! In one word 'FIERCE!'

Comment: This is another banger from Honey. I was lucky enough to be there for this one, and it was a special day indeed. There were thousands of people in attendance at P.S. 1 that day. This set is a true representation of how she murders dance floors around the world. This has excellent track selection and exciting mixes.

Comment: Wow, I have for some weird reason not had to opportunity before to really listen to Honey and thank God I downloaded this set!!! She really has her own unique style and the one word that comes to mind is innovative! I have listened to a LOT of house music and Honey has a brand all of her own. It kept surprising me that it was funky as hell in a punk kind of way. It was like Bad Boy Bill meets Derrick Carter with a booty and an attitude. FABULOUS!
