Who is Dj Beef?
-Dj Beef is known to his family and friends as Tal Giat.
Where is Dj Beef from?
-Dj Beef is originally from Israel.
Why he goes under the name Dj Beef?
-The name comes from the game Unreal Tournament, he used to play this game with he's colleagues and when he started he was so bad at it, that he was a cannon foder (i.e. Beef).
When did he start spinning and what?
-He started to spin Techno and House in 1999, gradually his style shifted toward Electro and Disco-Punk/Punk-Funk and early German electronic music.
Where did he spin?
-He used to spin in Tel-Aviv's dance-bars and lounges such as 'Shesek' and 'Lilinblum 22', and in the parties line 'Eletricity' - a weekly line of electro music.
Did he do other things related to music?
-Yes he did, Dj Beef was a music and nightlife journalist and wrote for Israeli magazines such as 'Newzweek' (electronic music magazine) and the clubs and music sections of 'Timeout Tel Aviv'.
When did he move to New York?
-In 2004 Dj Beef moved to New York with his lovely wife (sorry girls, but you can still drop him an email), and currently they live in the East-Village.
