Biography of Kemical Kidd
Kem (formerly known as Kemical Kidd) is a San Francisco based house DJ and producer. He focuses his sound on an eclectic mix of deep and funky underground house, when combined with his technical ability his cds and live sets are an innovative twist on the San Francisco house sound.
A veteran of the SF underground, Kem starting rocking underground parties in early 1999 and maintained a busy schedule playing regularly at SF venues for many years. His sought-after and innovative style led to his travels to play in places far and near such as Japan, Australia, Canada, Mexico and various cities across the U.S.
Today Kem focuses on playing seamless house sets and producing house with longtime friend Konstantin as Soulaire. Soulaire has a unique sound that combines the best of deep and funky house. With their trademark funky basslines and smooth keys expect to see some exciting projects from these two in the near future. You can hear soulaire's fresh sound on their myspace page.
