Biography of Sven Vath
Sven Vath is the epitome of the German 'global player.' His name is inseparable from the German club scene of the nineties. Vath's albums like 'Accident in Paradise' and 'The Harlekin, The Robot, & The Ballet Dancer' are landmarks of contemporary electronic music. He has a new album out, 'Contact' which includes the heralded cut 'Your Sweat. 'It is a bridge between the eighties and now' says Vath. 'For me, it refers directly to the music bands like DAF did then, without it being all retro, though. For a lot of people, sweat is something quite unsavory. I find dancing sweat very erotic. It means intensity and it's the perfect image for letting go, for succumb-ing to the mood.' German DJ/musician Sven Vath is truly one of the driving forces behind modern electronic music. His label, Harthouse, is responsible for unleashing many highly creative artists, including SpiceLab, Hardfloor, and Speedy J. As a DJ, his legendary marathon sets have received acclaim around the world. In addition, Vath creates his own innovative music.

Comment: Once Mr. Vath is in fullswing, he breaks ankles-this much i know. Eclipsing and erupting epic techno abounds around every turn of this mix... Old boy still 'as it. Promise you. This is straight fire, and to be honest the man has certainly entered the spring of his life.
